Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) searches are essential when interviewing for positions requiring the applicant to operate company vehicles, a personal vehicle for company purposes, or company machinery. Knowing an applicant's driving record can help limit corporate liability by identifying past convicitons or citations including reckless driving or driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

ERS's Motor Vehicle Report is obtained at the state department of motor vehicles and verifies license status and violations. Report may reveal indicators for substance abuse and other behavioral problems.
